Cute Card Thursday #28~Food...

This wonderful image was sent to me by Els & lots more besides !!! Thankyou Els,wow,there are so many,I'm spoiled for choice!!!!
I had the paper already in my stash & thought it went well with the carrots on it.I watercoloured the image,for a change.Highlighted the carrot with orange Stickles.Card & ribbon is SU.Baubles are from Stampingbella.Sentiment is CWC.
This is my entry for the Cute Card Thursday challenge as the theme is Food & these 2 lil characters look like they are certainly enjoying theirs!!!!

I'm Back.....

I had the most BRILLIANT day!!!!!!!!!!!!
Natalie was excellent company & we shopped till we dropped (& spent up,lol!!!)
Look at all my goodies! Can't wait to play.
I got everything on my wish list except FF xmas set,but no probs,I got new circle Nesties,Fiskars threading water punch,Tim Holtz goodies................................PHEW! I'm pooped!!!!
We had a great time & that's what it's all about!
What a wonderful way to spend a day,craft shopping,can't wait to do it again :o)xxx

A Spoonful of Sugar#17~Christmas is Coming...

Hey Girlies!!! Can you even begin to imagine how excited I am about tomorrow?! (The Great Northern Papercraft Extravaganza~Harrogate)
Just 1 more sleep,Aaaaaaarghhhhhh!!!! I will be like a child at xmas,lol!
Talking of xmas,I have made this card for this weeks challenge over on ASFOS,I have managed to get it posted in time this week.
I used freebie mag papers,Precious Moments image from my mate on ebay,Diane.
Fibres are ages old,I have got loads of sets from someone on ebay,can't remember sellers name,sorry.I wound them round the card & tied them on the inside.Image is coloured with Prisma pencils & Zest-It,added stickles to hat & cuffs,bling are PM.I actually used a peel-off for the greeting,I never use them except for xmas,think cos they are shiny,they sort of go with xmassy type cards.
I might be back later,if I manage to get any cards done & can sit still long enough!!! ;O)xxx

Look what Marlene gave me!!!!
It made me soo happy,it was Marlene that got me into Blogging in the 1st place,I found her blog & was addicted,instantly & it just spiralled!!!! Marlene was very kind to me & offered me lots of advice & help in getting started with my own blog & I won't forget that,she is a darling!!!

House Mouse & Friends #5~ Paper Piecing...

Phew!!!! I saved the best til last!!!!
My fave challenge,luv,luv,luv these lil creatures!!!!
This weeks HM&F challenge is to use paper piecing,so used "Twinkle Toes"(HMGR1013)& paper pieced her tutu with Laura Ashley spotted paper to go with the papers I have used on the card.
Hope you are sat down for this, cos I didn't use Promarkers....GASP!!!!!!! Nope used my old faithfulls, Prisma pencils & Zest-It,deep joy!!!!!! I really enjoyed using them & it was easier to get the shading right on the mouse.
The crocheted flower is from Poppicrafts,the spacer is from Ebay (Marlene's shop).The hatpin is ebay,pearl brad is PM.
Right,I'm worn out & I'm sure you must be catching up with me,lol!!!! I'll say goodnight & see you tomorrow.TFL :o)xxx

Tilda & Co#36~Chocolate Delight...

The colours Chocolate,Pink & White,are what are required on our work,this week on Tilda & Co.
Such a luvly combo,I used BG Blush paper,Bazzill cs,Image coloured with Promarkers.Adhesive lace from stash.Sweetie rub-on was mag freebie,ages ago! Flowers are Prima,pearls PM,swirl is off ebay.TFL :O)XXX

Penny Black Saturday Challenge#14~A Mans Card,But No Blue....

Is he not just the cutest lil cutey?!!!!
I just adore him,he is an old retired PB,called Rambling Ted & I just knew I had to have him,when I spotted him on ebay.
I used BG Boxer paper,coloured image with Promarkers,cs is SU & so is the ribbon.The "Journey" tag is K&CO,brads from stash.TFL :O)XXX

Stamp Something~Cherry Inspired Somethings...

This card is for the Stamp Something challenge.You have to create something inspired by cherries.
I have had this paper forever & also in blk & red,but never used it,think cos it has the skulls on,not my usual pretty/girly stuff!! It certainly came in handy though,at last!
The oval was cut with Nesties,out of Bazzill cs,then wrapped some fabric covered wire,called Desire Memory by DMC,alternately round the scalloped oval,then hooked the cherry charm onto the wire,before tucking under at the back.The charm was red,so painted it with pink nail varnish!!! (Miami by Boots 17,if your interested,lol!!!)
Tilda was coloured with Promarkers,bling from stash.TFL :O)X

I know,I know,it's far too late,but I really like this card,so wanted to share anyway!!!!
I used Nikki's sketch & luved it.Paper is BG Eva,card is SU,run through cuttlebug emb folder.Image is Forever Friends & sentiment is actually on the stamp too,just detached them to follow sketch.Coloured with Promarkers,sticky ribbon from stash.Stickles on his party hat.TFL :O)XXX

I'm still here...

I cannot get my pics onto the comp,grrrr!!! I have done 7 cards/challenges,but will have to wait for the fellas to get home to help this damsel in distress ;O)
It seems ages since I posted anything,I'm getting withdrawel symptoms,haha!!!!
I want to be on a Design Team,it's not fair!!! I keep seeing people asking for DT members,but I daren't apply,I fear rejection! It is a big problem with me,my Husband gets annoyed cos I never apply for anything or take chances,I like to play safe!!!
Anyway enough whingeing,lol!!! It is only 3 more sleeps to the GNPE craft fair,OMGoodness,think I might burst with excitement & poor Natalie will have to calm me down at the doors,teehee!!! We have both got our wish lists & saved our pennies up,so consider us armed & dangerous, & don't get in our way when those doors open at 10am!!!!!! We will be like a pair of headless chickens running round the place!!!

Just so you know....

I am still about,but have converted to a laptop & I'm getting everything transferred & up & running,so not posted for a bit!!!
Paul gave me his laptop & has sprayed it PINK!!! it's luvly & very me!!!! he has put some diamantes on it too,lol!!!! Will take a piccie later & hopefully will be able to post some cards on here too,been doing all my challenges.

I had a wonderful surprise on Saturday,The Range has opened in Halifax & it's really near me,I'm soooooooo happy!!!!! I went in,but was very good cos I'm going to The Great Northern Papercraft Extravaganza on Saturday with Natalie & I have been saving my pennies!!!

CCT#27~Cats & Dogs/BG~Buttons....

Now don't be fooled by the clever photography,my Son did it,lol!!!!
Bet you all thought I had got daring with the comp,no,no,no!!!! I needed to show you the shape of the card , the 3 diff papers used & how it ties at the back!!!!
I used Marlene's sketch(Thanx Marlene!),that she created, esp for this triangular card,must say they are really nice to use & such a change.
The theme is cats & dogs for this weeks Cute Card Thursday challenge ,so I dug deep & found a stamp called "Holly & Kitty Woogums" by Eat Cake Graphics.I used Promarkers to colour image.
The papers are all BG Euphoria & so are the buttons& the piece of fibre at the back,so that means I can enter my card into the new Basic Grey Challenge,you need to use buttons of any kind,but you have to use something BG on your card too.
Think that's my lot for now,lol!!! Thanx for calling ;o)xxx

PTW~Autumn Haze....

I really like all the Autumn challenges that are about,the colours are luvly to work with.
This weeks Papertake Weekly~Autumn Haze,themed challenge,is great.
I used K& Co Bailey paper.Green card is SU,image is a Sugar Nellie,coloured with Promarkers.I just got some photo hangers from Poppicrafts & put 1 in the cnr, but you can't see it for ribbons,lol!!! Rest of stuff from stash.TFL:o)xxx
