Cute Card Thursday~In The Home...

Back already,with this weeks CCT card.The theme is In The Home.
Paper is BG Euphoria,not sure who sent me this image,sorry,think it is High Hopes.Coloured with Marvy pens.lace is from John Lewis (Trafford Centre) & is so nice,it is stretchy,so gives a frilly effect.Sentiment is Hero Arts,gems are PM,flourish stamp is 99p Studio G stamp set & crochet flower from stash.Stickles on wings.

Friday Sketchers #12...

Me AGAIN,lol!!!!
I'm gliding back into my challenges this week,told ya I was on the mend ;O)
I made this card using the sketch on Friday Sketchers,I had to adapt it a lil,cos the middle strip would have run straight through the middle of my image,so hope it still counts.
I used my fab new stamps by Elisabeth Bell,I bought the full set,as they are irresistable(http://www.funkykits.co.uk).i/ was sent a set of images of the 1st set by Rach & just adore them,so had to have these lil beauties!!!
Used distress inks to colour,paper is PM Retro Flowers,sentiment is AC rub on,the diamante heart is by K&CO (Smitten) & the crochet flower I got last year at the Make It show in Bolton,it says http://www.cardsandcraft.co.uk/ on the bag,(if that helps).I inked edges of card with distress ink too,as the card looked too white & empty.Brads are MM.
I have just ordered some Promarkers from http://www.sillymonkeycrafts.co.uk/ & I'm sooo excited,can't wait for them to get here!!!

Tilda & Friends ATC~Beads...

Here's my ATC for this weeks Tilda & Friends challenge.You have to use beads.
I stuck the lil cutie Tilda image onto the card & then used screw style brads (Poppicrafts)to make the fence look more realistic! I coloured with Prisma pencils,used Stickles on wings & the grass & sky.The beads,that spell SUMMER,I have had for ever in my stash.
Nice & easy lil challenge,TFL :o)xxx

A Spoonfull of Sugar ~Animals...

Hello!!!!!!!!!
I'm back with another card,might only be 1 a week,but hey! it's a step in the right direction,lol!!!!!
I have made others,think 7,so far,but this 1 is for this weeks A Spoonfull Of Sugar challenge,with an animal theme.
I have been waiting to use this image,that Fran sent me a while ago,so out came the Liquid Applique,to fluff up the 2 lil sheep,they are fab!!!!
Papers were magazine freebies,card is Bazzill Bling,ribbon is HOTP,sentiment is Craftwork Cards,coloured with distress inks & Prisma pencils.
It is getting a bit easier to sit now,so might be able to use comp more.The bruising is shrinking ,but still a range of colours!!!
I can potter about for short bursts & then rest.I'm starting to feel more like myself & it feels so good,phew! I'm not good at being unwell,lol!!!!

A card made by me,lol!!!!
I followed the sketch on PTW,by Katharina & thoroughly enjoyed doing it,esp with my new BG Euphoria goodies.
The image was sent to me by Rach & also the flowerpot charm.
I coloured it with a mix of Sakura gel pens,Marvy pens,pencil crayons & water colours.
Been sat painting images tonight.My stitches are feeling very tight now & it's difficult to sit comfy.Bruising is yellow & navy blue today,lol!!!!

1 Week On...

It has gone so quick,the last week.
I'm still in bed with the laptop,but much,much better than I was,yesterday was a bad day,I felt a bit down & had a lil blub,but everyone cheered me back up again!!!
Through the day,my Mum & Dad have been looking after me,they have been brilliant,esp my Mum.Then at night my Hubby,Paul,takes over & he has been a rock.
I didn't realise just how little I would be able to do afterwards & has been a shock,as I'm usually always on the go!!!
My mum has got me watching Deal Or No Deal,usually my TV doesn't even get plugged in until about 8/9pm!!!!
My bruising is now deep purple & yellow,fascinating to see the daily change,lol!!!
Think I might venture downstairs to my craft desk,later today,I have really missed it.I keep seeing everyones lovely creations & it is sooo frustrating!!!
I just need some sunshine now,to top up my tan!!! The nurses joked,that all patients should go on hols before surgery,so they all look well afterwards,like me,lol!!!!
I just need to be more patient with myself,but it is really hard,slowing down to nothing.
Last night I ordered the new BG Euphoria goodies,so hopefully they should be here tomorrow & get my mojo going.I also went to order the new stamps from Funkykits,but they are out of stock,so waiting now......

I'm home & on the mend....

I'm home,in bed,on my son's laptop.Very sore & black & blue,I had to be cut as they removed a 12cm fibroid along with my womb.Multicoloured nether regions are not attractive (or comfortable,ouch!)believe me!!!Hubby is an angel,bless him,I'm sure he just wants to strangle me by now,lol!!!Mum has lent me a bed table,so I can do my cards,yey!!!!Been colouring some images,next step will be a complete card,been ages!!!!Watch this space for a card,very soon,hahaha!!! ;O)xxx

Panic,Panic!!!....

I went for my Pre-op assessment today,before my Hysterectomy,to find it has been brought forward to this Wednesday,yep the day after tomorrow,eeeekkkk!!!!!!! Yikes!!!!
I have to be in by 07.30am,as I'm on the morning list!
I'm a bit shocked,to say the least,but at least it will be over & done with quicker.

I don't know where my mojo has gone,but can't seem to sit at my desk for more than a few mins & nothing is happening,lol!!!

Will try post something before I go into hospital & hopefully some holiday piccies!!!
