For this card I used the new downloads from Pollycraft called The Promise Collection - Heartfelt. I used Distress Inks to colour the image & the papers are K&Co Bailey.Sentiment is Inca stamp.

My New Dollies!!!...

Girls! I have to tell you about my fantastic new kits!!!

I have been sat here making these lil dollies with a big silly grin on my face,lol!!! I have been in my element!!!

I came across these kits in a magazine a few days ago,they are by Wendie Rhodes & cost £6 each & delivery was free!!!,I got them the next day,I'm so pleased with them.

I have always luved Matroyshka dolls (I call them Russian dolls?!),my Mum used to have a set & I luved playing with them when I was little & I too have some in my bedroom.

I have been a bit busy lately,so first chance I got today I had a go with both kits & they are so easy & fun to make.

The Matroyshka doll was made with BG Eva papers & peel-offs (can you believe it?!,I usually hate them,but they look so pretty on these),then the Oriental dolly was made with BG Euphoria papers & peel-offs,(think I need to sort the poor lass's barnet out,she looks like one of the Jackson Five,lol!!!!).

I hope youlike them & I'm sure if you buy some you will have loads of fun,dressing them up!!!

Look at this Saucy Lil Minx!!!!...

Now,please let me explain, before I loose any readers,Emma sent me this image in my DT kit for Sassy Crafts & I did say you would all think I had lost the plot!!!
I have teamed her (Gloriana by Third Coast Stamps) with the BG Cupcake papers (who would have thought I could make them look sexy,lol?!!!!) & I coloured her with Distress Inks,sentiment is SU.
I'm off to make one of my cute cards again now,(they wear clothes),goodness!!!!
You can't say I didn't have a go!!! (Hope you like it Emma,lol!!!)

ABC Challenge~Y is for Yesteryear...

This weeks ABC challenge is to use your very 1st stamp you bought.
I bought this stamp after attending a craft class on rubber stamping & watercolouring,this was the stamp we used & I really enjoyed the class,that is what got me started with stamping & painting.
The stamp is PB "Pink-Toes",how appropriate,lol!!!,I luv this stamp,she makes me smile.I coloured the image with Distress Inks.
The paper is K&Co Smitten,corners are cut with a Quickutz die,felt trim is PM,so are the gems.
Sentiment is SU stamp & it is stamped on a K&Co Smitten Die Cut Shape.
This card has made me dig deep today in my stash,I have even found & used my Xyron Sticker Maker (after dusting it!!!).

New Baby Card...

Just showing you the card I have made for my Daughter's friend,who had a baby boy on Sunday night.
The baby is called Ellis,so I made a card with his name on.
I cut the name with the Cuttlebug "Hippie Chick" alphabet on my Big Shot.The rest of the card is made with StampinUp! goodies (Julie will be sooo proud of me,lol!!!).

Here is my card using this weeks sketch over on the WOJ challenge.
I used Melinda reading a book stamp,coloured with distress inks,papers are BG Cupcake from Sassy Crafts & they are fabulous,luv all the papers & the colours are soo cheerful.
The flowers were punched out,pearls are PM,sentiment is a rub-on from stash.The border at the bottom was punched with a Woodware border punch.

Image is coloured with distress inks,paper is K&Co Mckenna,sewn with my machine!!!
The flower border stamp ia also FF,the sentiment stamp was from a local craft shop & has no name on it.Ribbon from stash.TFL :o)xxx

House Mouse & Friends #21~Colour Challenge

This weeks HM&F challenge is to use a colour combo,Cameo Coral,Old Olive,Night Of Navy.
These shades are StampinUp! colours but you can use any matching cardstock.
My image was coloured with Distress Inks,navy & green card is Coredinations,coral corners are SU cardstock,cut with a Quickutz die.Paper is BG Boxer,pearl brads are PM,sentiment is SU,gems were applied with my Kandi Kane.TFL :o)xxx

Pollycraft Monday Challenge #7~Flowers & Ribbons...

The other day I made you a PINK dinosaur & today I present you all with a PINK elephant,lol!!!!
This is my DT card for this weeks Pollycraft Challenge,Flowers & Ribbons (by Ria).
I used the Patchwork Elephants downloads again,they are sooo esy to colour & look fab for either male or female cards.
I coloured with Distress Inks,paper is BG Urban Prairie,flowers are punched from the same papers,corner & sentiment stamps are studio g,eyelets set with Cropadile,ribbon is SU (Elegant Eggplant).
I'm typing this with difficulty at the mo,I just went to empty my kitchen bin & the liner had split,so went to put it in another & grabbed the bottom of the bag,there must have been something sharp & it has sliced my poor finger,ouch!!!
The only plaster I could find was a lil square one,so can you imagine how it looks,haha!!!

Cupcake Class...

Today I had a luvly time at Julie's Cupcake Class.

There were 7 of us inc Julie,some I knew & some I only met today,all were really nice & we had fun.

We made 2 diff cards & a desk calendar & to round the afternoon off nicely, I won the prize draw :o),a fab SU stamp set (Polka Dot Punches),woohoo!!!!

I'm so glad to be able to play with these stamps!!!
I have had them years & really laughed when I saw them,so hope you like them too!!!
This card is for this weeks CCT challenge & the stamps are PB (2469E Impressed! & 2731E ...better than flies!).
Paper is SU (Old Olive Designer Series),ribbon is SU(Old Olive),card is Coredinations & brads from stash.

WOJ Challenge #14~Purple & Green...

This card is for the colour challenge over on WOJ.
I used Melinda blowing kisses stamp,coloured her with distress inks & then went over with Twinkling H20's.Outlined her with Sakura "Clear Star" pen.Paper is BG Euphoria,flowers are punched with an X-Cut punch,stickles added to centres.Flourish stamp is Studio g,sentiment stamp is SU.

Cupcake Craft Challenge #22 (& my 1st ever stitched card!!!)!

I'm sooooooooooooooo excited,I made my first ever stitched card,with my new sewing machine!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I have conquered something huge,as some of you know,I was desperate for a sewing machine for ages,but was terrified of them (still am,but it's getting better!!!).

I had a few probs,then my Mum came round & the only thing I had been doing wrong was threading the needle from back to front,DOH!!!

My Mum sat with me for a few tries & said I had done great & she luved my lil machine (Mum only buys very good quality machines herself!!!).

My machine was £29.99 from instore (was Poundstretchers) & runs from either batteries or mains.I use mains & it is great,it has 8 diff stitches & is quite powerful,so I'm happy,happy,happy!!!!

Ok, on to my card!!! The image is a download from Pollycraft called "Patchwork Elephants",coloured with Distress Inks,paper is Laura Ashley (this just screams "SEW ME"),stars are Quickutz,eyelets set with Cropadile.Stitching by ME!!!! ;O)

I have finished the whole Twilight series of books!!!!!!
Now what am I supposed to read,cos nothing can compare or beat them,they were absolutely amazing,fantastic,wonderful.......I was hooked on Twilight,lol!!! :o)xxx
