Friday Sketchers #47...

Here's my card for this weeks Friday Sketchers.
The image (sent to me by Kim) is coloured with Promarkers,paper is HOTP Vintage.Chipboard scrolls are BG,coloured with Distress Ink (Aged Mahogany),pearls are Kaiser,gems are PM.
Back to normality today & got to go to the supermarket now,Eugh!!!

WOJ Challenge #25~Sketch by Katharina...

This is my card for this weeks WOJ Challenge.
The image is coloured with Promarkers,papers are HOTP Vintage,sentiment ticket is by Tim Holtz.Eyelets set with Cropadile & then it looked a bit blank sooo I used some ....Peel-Offs!!! I know,I'm sorry,but they just came in handy,I found them whilst moving all my stuff about.
BTW unit is looking a bit fuller,moved some more stuff in,I need some of the storage boxes that go with it,but they are out of stock of them all,so got to wait.
I'm just waiting for both Pauls to get ready,my stomach is growling for my meal!!!

Birthday Goodies!!!...

Just wanted to share some pics with you.

I have received some fabulous cards & goodies from blogging friends & want to say "Thankyou",you are very kind,I luv them all & I will be colouring images whenever I can,as I have got some brilliant ones!!!

I woke up to PINK flowers & then found more PINK flowers on my craft desk,my Hubby is wonderful,he always makes my b'day special.I then got a PINK cake (with 1 candle,didn't want to cause a fire with 43 of em,lol!!!),had a slice for breakfast & went to the gym to work it off,lol!!!

I also got money,make-up & a necklace from my family,so it has already been a luvly day & tonight Paul told me we are going for a meal,woohoo,no cooking/washing up!!! I like birthdays :o)

I have also popped a pic of my new storage unit,that is still only half full,cos it's driving me nuts,knowing where to put things,decisions,decisions....

I will post again after this with more b'day cards,as think too many photos on 1 post!!!

This card is for this weeks PTW Challenge,using Dawny's sketch.
Image is Gorjuss coloured with Promarkers,paper is Craft Creations,card is Bazzill.Large swirl stamp is Magnolia,small swirls are Studio g.
I have been sooo busy today.My Hubby,Paul,asked me what I wanted for my birthday & I couldn't think of anything other than new storage for my craft stuff,so last night we went to Ikea & bought a fab unit (Expedit) that has 12 storage spaces that can take 12x12 papers!!!
I was ecstatic,Paul doesn't think it is a good present,but I'm over the moon,lol!!!
I've spent all day moving & rearranging stuff & I'm going out of my tree now!!! It's sooo hard condensing things down & putting things in the right place,the house looks like a bomb has landed & I don't do messy!!!
Had to break for a bit & make my card,it stopped me going insane!!!
Ok,back to it!

Sketch Saturday # 45...

This weeks Sketch Saturday Challenge is by Tracie & very nice it is too!!!
My PB image is coloured with Promarkers,background done with chalks.Paper is MME,card is Bazzill,pearls are Kaiser.Rest from stash.
I have started to go to my local market (Halifax) on a Saturday & I luv choosing lace,pins,buttons,etc.It doesn't cost much,but I feel like I have bought treasure,lol!!!
Who needs diamonds?!!!
I just want to say "Thankyou" to people who have sent me Birthday cards,I just got some in the post this morning,but I'm not opening them yet.I will show them on here on Thursday.
We just booked our next holiday to Turkey (we go every year),YEY!!!! It feels exciting already & got 11 weeks to wait!!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge#43~Easter ...

This is my card for this weeks PB "Easter" Challenge.
I'm trying to get used to my Aqua Promarkers,so the colouring isn't my best,lol!!!
The watercolour paper just grabbed the colour & it wouldn't blend,so it's quite dark in some places,but I hate to waste things,so I used the image anyway,it will do!!!
Paper is Craft Creations (I got 7 diff colours in it yesterday at my local craft shop,luv gingham!!!),card is Coredinations,rest from stash,had to use a peel off for the sentiment as I don't have an Easter stamp.

Ismaki Challenge (Option~Metal)...

This is my card for this weeks Ismaki Challenge & the option is to use metal,which I have done with the spacer.
The image is Little Claire Designs & was given to me by Natalie.I coloured with Promarkers,the paper is Jenni Bowling,ribbon is Dovecraft,flowers from stash.
Think I might have to take myself off to the craft shop,as I have got banging & drilling going on next door!!! ARGHHH!!!
I craft in the dining room & they are working in their dining room,so the noise is coming through very loud,they started at 8am & woke us all up,so not a very impressed family today,hmph!

Friday Sketchers #46...

I made this card with the new Tea Party papers from SU.Julie gave us a lil goodie bag last night with samples of the paper & ribbons in,so I have put mine to good use,for this weeks Friday Sketchers Challenge!!!
I ordered these papers & a fabulous stamp set with cutey animals in & some glitter & some huge eyelets,teehee!!! Can't wait for them to arrive now.
The image is WOJ,kindly given to me by Natalie,coloured with Promarkers,Stickles added to her wings.Cardstock is SU (Almost Amethyst),ribbon is SU (Certainly Celery),I tell you,I'm blummin brainwashed with SU,I even know the colours now,without the catalogue!!! I get all the names muddled up & make my own names up for stuff,which Julie finds funny.
I'm going to try make another card before I go to Yoga later,just have to decide which challenge to choose.....hmmmmm!!!!

Cute Card Thursday #54~Citrus Colours...

I have managed to get all my jobs done & been to the gym,so just made a card!!!
This weeks CCT theme is Citrus Colours,so I used my Kate Knight (Wild Blossom) papers again,they are so cheerful.I use 8x8 papers to go with the 8x8 cards I'm using.The image was sent to me by Jilli & I coloured it with Promarkers,sentiment is Funky Fairys,rest from stash.
Holly had a luvly birthday & I passed all your good wishes on to her,Thankyou.The meal was really nice & we had a great evening,all girlies chit-chatting!!!

WOJ Challenge #24~Let's Get Dirty!!!...

I managed to make a card this afternoon & I'm just waiting for Holly to get ready,so thought I would post it on here!!!
The image is the cutesy lil snail from WOJ,I got it on Saturday from The Hobby House stand at Harrogate.I also used my new heart shaped Nesties.Ticket is Tim Holtz,frame is SU,rest from stash.
This is my card for this weeks WOJ challenge,were you have to use distressing on your card.
Could anyone please tell me how you are supposed to use Tan Mats in a Big Shot,with Nesties,please? I just got new cutting pads & Tan mats & I can't fathom the tan mats out,hmmmm.....

Happy Birthday Holly xx...

Today is my Daughter Holly's 22nd Birthday & this is the card I made for her.

There is also a photo of Holly,(who changes her hair colour almost weekly,she is light brown at the mo!!!).

I used Miss Anya stamp,coloured with Promarkers,paper is an old mag freebie & Holly likes Purple,so it went well the image,wording is done with Cuttlebug Hippie Chick alphabet,rest from stash.

We have a table booked for 7pm at a Chinese restaurant, for 9 girlies,so should be fun.
